The Now Your Motoring commercial vehicle course is designed for anyone who holds a licence for a particular class of commercial vehicle but is a little rusty, or for drivers who need to familiarise themselves with larger vehicles.

Perhaps you need to hire a van for a light removal job or maybe you are an employer who needs to train a member of your staff  to drive a commercial vehicle.

The course will include

·        Vehicle control and familiarisation.

·        Positioning.

·        The effect of a load on vehicle handling and stopping.

·        Vehicle checks including Oil, Water, Tyres etc.

·        Legal requirements, including speed limits use of lanes etc

·        Manoeuvring

·        Driving in a fuel efficient way

·        For Class 1 LGV vehicles the course will also include coupling and uncoupling a trailer

The exact content of the course will be adapted to the participants level of skill and experience and any special requirements that you may have.
